Welcome to our first newsletter for 2025!

As we start another year, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering commitment.

Thanks to your support, the number of children benefiting from our services has increased by 14% as we continue to demonstrate the impact of our support on country children, families and communities.

Our achievements reflect our commitment to improving the health and wellbeing of country children; however, many rural families still face barriers in accessing timely, developmental and mental health support due to long waiting times and a shortage of healthcare professionals.

Looking ahead, we are excited to celebrate our 100th year of service in 2025. With the support of our steadfast partners, donors and supporters, we are working towards our ultimate ambition: that every country child has access to the developmental services they need to support their early development and enrich their lives.

"
Doug made a heartfelt decision to leave a significant bequest to Royal Far West in honour of his daughter, Sarah, whose life was positively transformed by RFW’s care.

Reflecting on his choice, Doug shared,
“Sarah faced considerable challenges growing up, including speech and developmental difficulties, before RFW provided her with the tools and support she needed to flourish,” Doug recalled fondly. “She gained confidence and independence under their care, and it was wonderful to see her thrive."

Encouraging others to follow his lead, Doug’s support will help RFW continue providing essential services and transforming lives for generations to come.
