Information for teachers and schools

Our partnerships with teachers and schools are invaluable. It’s with their cooperation that we can help to create the best, most supportive environments for kids with developmental and behavioural issues.

As a teacher, you’re likely to be one of the first people to notice that a child could have issues with speech, movement, cognition, regulation/behaviour and mental health, or developmental milestones in general. You could play a critical role in supporting children and their parents, especially when there are no local services available.

How we work with teachers and schools:

  • Telecare for Kids – Delivering virtual speech , occupational therapy and psychology assessment and therapy directly into schools via video conference.
  • Reporting on results and progress of children attending our Paediatric Developmental Program and discussing strategies to implement in the classroom.
  • Webinars and other capacity building/training for teachers to help identify and respond to issues and how to develop a supportive environment in the classroom.
