Three weeks ago, three of Royal Far West’s Accredited Nurse Immuniser & Registered Nurses spent five days at COVID-19 Mass Vaccination outreach clinics in Walgett, Burren Junction, Quambone, Wee Waa and Narrabri, partnering with RFDS, local AMS, SES, Councils, VRA and NSW Health, enabling 1,619 people to receive a Pfizer vaccination.
It certainly was a case of ‘no distance too far’ for the team, who notched up some impressive statistics on their trip:
- 1411.7km by road
- 600km by air
- 4 towns
- 6 total locations
Our team headed out again on Wednesday 22 Sept with RFDS for another Outreach trip to rural and remote communities to visiting towns including Dubbo, Toormina, Moree and North Star, and then on to Wee Waa and Narrabri to deliver second doses.
We are thrilled that our team can help support rural communities in such an important way.
