Since 2014 RFW has serviced, via its technology‐enabled capability, more than 300 children from 11 schools in the Gladstone area. These services have been funded and delivered in partnership with the Gladstone Foundation, schools and local service providers to overcome local workforce shortages.
Early in 2016 a further 60 children in critical need of developmental health services were identified, stretching capacity.
Thanks to the generous support of the Qantas Foundation, at least 20 of those children will receive RFW Telecare services by the end of December 2016 to address their developmental needs through speech pathology and sensory and fine / gross motor skill assessments.
