Moree will come alive on 8, 9 and 10 September, when up to 500 members on their motorbikes from the Harley Owners Group (HOG) Big Sky Chapter will come together for their enormous Rally. Members and their families come from far and wide, including Coonamble, Brewarrina, Tamworth and Ballina, to take part in this two-yearly event.

HOG was created by Harley-Davidson in 1983 to promote family-oriented activities for Harley-Davidson owners. There are HOG chapters in every state of Australia, and the Moree based chapter is a family-oriented social club, where events are planned for everyone to enjoy.

A few HOG Big Sky members have children who are clients, or have been clients, of Royal Far West, the charity which supports children in rural and regional Australia, which is why the charity was selected to benefit from the event’s fundraising efforts.

The 2017 HOG Rally is for members on Friday and Saturday, but everyone is welcome to come along to the Services Club at Albert Street, Moree on Sunday 10 September, until approximately 1 pm, where they can check out all things bike related in a fun environment. Kids will love the 8.30 am Muster, the 9.30 am Ride Around Town and the spectacular 11.30 am Show & Shine, complete with voting for the best bikes.

Please keep an eye out for the Royal Far West donation buckets – the money raised will help support children who live in the local and neighboring areas, including Moree Plains, Gwydir and Narrabri Shire.
