Are you ready to join us for the ride of a lifetime?
Each year, we head out on a three-day ride across regional NSW to help raise awareness and vital funds to give country kids the developmental and mental health services they need, but otherwise cannot access. So far, the Ride for Country Kids has raised over $3M for kids and their families and we’re not stopping there!
The Ride gets bigger and better every year, and we welcome new individuals and teams to join the fun in 2022.
Join us in 2022 and ride to transform the lives of Australia’s country kids!
Where we’re headed in 2022!
Join us from May 22-24 to ride over 430km through breathtaking countryside whilst meeting some of the wonderful communities Royal Far West serves. The 2022 Ride will begin in Tamworth, and visit Armidale and Inverell before finishing in Deepwater, just outside Glen Innes.
Day 1: Tamworth (Bendemeer) to Armidale via Walcha & Uralla (145km / 1800m elevation)
Day 2: Armidale to Inverell via Bundarra & Copeton Dam (155km / 1670m elevation)
Day 3: Inverell to Glen Innes (Deepwater) via Emmaville (134km / 1750m elevation)
Note: Riders and bikes will be transported to and from the start and finish locations of Bendemeer and Deepwater.
The 2022 Ride for Country Kids will be a fantastic opportunity to challenge yourself and go the distance for country kids! We will be offering new training programs and support to help you prepare your skills and/or fitness for the challenge.
Ride for Country Kids 2021 highlights
In May 2021, 77 dedicated riders pedalled 450km+ from Dubbo to Cobar and raised over $535,000, allowing us to fully fund all 150 places on the Paediatric Developmental Program waiting list.
It was our biggest and best Ride ever and we can’t wait to do it all again next year.
