Despite the increasing difficulty of balancing training with his professional and personal commitments, David remains steadfast in his determination to complete the ride. He acknowledges the significant time pressures involved but remains undeterred. “It will only get more challenging and there is time pressure everywhere,” David says.
The primary motivation behind David’s involvement is his strong belief in the importance of raising funds and awareness for children in rural and remote areas. As part of the corporate services team at Royal Far West, he may not have firsthand experience with the impact of the organisation’s work, but he is inspired by Royal Far West’s mission.
David sees his participation as a personal choice, fuelled by a desire to contribute to a good cause. His focus remains on simply completing the ride, a testament to his dedication and commitment to the children and families Royal Far West supports.
