Country Life Soap and Royal Far West Partner to bring support to country kids
Thursday October 15 is World Handwashing Day and to mark the occasion, Pental’s Country Life soap range has announced it will donate 5% of all net sales this summer to Australian children’s charity, Royal Far West.

Country Life is locally and ethically made with Australian ingredients and has been for over 60 years. With the topic of hand washing being more prominent than ever, the sale of Country Life products has enjoyed significant uptake and with this, the Australian-made and owned company has decided they want to give back during a challenging and uncertain time for many.

Through the partnership announced with Royal Far West, a 96-year-old not-for-profit that works closely with families, schools, allied health professionals and local communities to connect rural and remote Australian children with the health and developmental care they need, Country Life is delighted to be able to provide support to such a worthy cause.

Country Life’s parent brand, Pental and Royal Far West are asking consumers to support this important cause by choosing products from the Country Life range when buying soap for their families.

Pental is investing in what matters most to their consumers and this is why they have developed this partnership between their Country Life brand and Royal Far West.

Pental CEO, Charlie McLeish has commented, “We are really thrilled to be able to give back at a time when our products are in demand and flying off the shelves to a worthy organisation that directly improves and cares for regional and remote families.

“Our company is built on Australian values and we want to be able to impart this through actionable support for a charity such as Royal Far West who do really meaningful and important work.

“People are already buying soap at an increased rate during the COVID-19 health crisis and we know that Australians are passionate about supporting Australian made and owned businesses that support the wider Australian community, particularly those that are experiencing hardship, so we’re hoping that people will choose the Country Life range to help support children from our regional and remote communities.”

Royal Far West’s CEO Lindsay Cane AM says, “Growing up in the bush can be both very special and very challenging; never more so than in the last 12 months with extreme drought, devastating bushfires and now COVID-19, all causing uncertainty, economic distress and social upheaval for our country children and communities.

We know that the effects of trauma from catastrophic events like these will be felt for years to come.

“The need for our services is ever-increasing. We’re delighted that Pental has chosen to partner with our charity over the summer months, gifting a percentage of sales towards our programs, which will enable us to support more children in rural and remote areas of Australia with critical mental and developmental health and wellbeing services.”

Pental’s Country Life soap range will donate 5% of all net sales of their range to support Royal Far West families from Oct 15, 2020 to end of Summer, February 28, 2021.
