Helps deliver our Telecare for Kids program via videolink to children in regional and remote areas who are suffering from a developmental challenge. This could be a learning delay, speech difficulty or mental health issue. Kids can access to psychologists, occupational therapists and other specialist services without them and their families having to travel significantly far away from home for the help they need. 

Means that more kids will benefit from speech therapy sessions and will subsequently be able to start communicating better with their families, peers and teachers. Speech therapy improves language skills, confidence to engage in conversations and ultimately builds the communication skills that will help kids learn, play and thrive. 

Often, country kids are unable to access services like speech therapy locally. That’s why the service we provide is crucial for their development.

Will help offer struggling families a place in our Paediatric Developmental Program, an intensive, residential program at our Centre for Country Kids in Manly. This program provides comprehensive assessments with specialists including a paediatrician, psychologist, social worker, occupational therapist, speech pathologist, dietitian and dentist. Altogether, this will help to ensure country kids get comprehensive, specialist care.
