Healthy Kids Bus Stop
In order to minimise the risk of exposing country families and in turn spreading COVID-19 to largely untouched regional and remote communities, it is with regret that we have decided to postpone all outreach visits for the foreseeable future.
Along with organisations all over the world, Royal Far West has been monitoring the COVID-19 situation very closely, taking guidance and considering facts and data from Public Health, the Australian Federal and State Governments and a range of other organisations across a variety of sectors, both here and internationally. Each day brings new developments to consider, but our top priority remains our staff and their families, our clients and their families as well as you – our supporters and friends.
We look forward to visiting rural and remote communities again as soon as it’s safe to do so.
Healthy Kids Bus Stop is a comprehensive health screening program aimed at children 3-5 years of age, run in partnership with local communities. Using the RMHC Care Mobile, a specialist team of health professionals comes to you. The program offers comprehensive screening that aims to identify developmental issues and provide a pathway to care for children to support their transition to school. This program is particularly beneficial in remote communities with limited services.
