Multiplex Steps Up for Country Kids

A Powerful Example of Corporate Partnership in Action

Corporate partnerships are vital to Royal Far West’s ability to create lasting impact for country kids. They help us amplify our message, extend our reach, and deliver meaningful community outcomes. Multiplex is a great example—this year, they not only sponsored a team for our 100-year Ride for Country Kids, but four of their employees also took part in the ride itself.

Read our interview with Rob Kiely from Multiplex to learn more about why this partnership matters.

What first drew Multiplex to RFW, and what inspired you to form a partnership?

Multiplex was drawn to RFW’s deep commitment to supporting the health and wellbeing of children in rural and remote communities. As a company that values community connection and long-term impact, we saw a strong alignment between RFW’s mission and our own social responsibility goals. The opportunity to support a cause that directly benefits families in regional Australia resonated strongly with our team.

Can you share some of the initiatives Multiplex has been involved in with RFW, and how these experiences have influenced your team?

We’ve been proud to support several initiatives with RFW, including: Ride for Country Kids , Creating a children’s book and supplying high-vis gear for children from the RFW school and the Name the Crane competition. These experiences have strengthened our team’s sense of purpose and connection, both internally and with the broader community. They’ve also fostered a culture of giving back, which is something we’re incredibly proud of.

What are the key outcomes you hope to achieve through your partnership with RFW?

Our partnership with Royal Far West is about more than just supporting a good cause—it’s about creating meaningful, lasting impact across multiple dimensions of our business and community engagement. The key outcomes we aim to achieve include a stronger team connection, alignment with Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) goals, enhanced brand recognition and reputation and community integration and local engagement.

What advice would you give to other companies considering a partnership with a cause driven organisation like RFW?

Start by identifying a cause that genuinely aligns with your company’s values and culture. A successful partnership is built on shared purpose, mutual respect, and a commitment to long-term impact. Be open to engaging your team in creative and meaningful ways – it’s these experiences that truly bring the partnership to life.
