A lasting legacy

A gift in your Will is one of the most valuable ways you can ensure country children receive the healthcare services they need well into the future.

Every gift, no matter how large or small, can make a huge difference. A bequest is a lasting legacy of hope for our nations’s country children, helping them to reach their full potential.

Children in rural and remote communities face significant barriers in accessing the services and support they need for their best health and wellbeing. These barriers can alter a child’s trajectory into adulthood and significantly challenge their ability to reach their full potential – simply because of where they live.

Royal Far West bridges the gap to ensure country kids are on a path to a bright future.

By choosing to leave a gift to Royal Far West in your Will, you can join us in building this path for future generations.

How to leave a gift in your Will

Once your loved ones have been provided for, even a small gift can make a great difference. It is always a good idea to discuss your wishes with your loved ones, so they are aware of your intentions.

The process of leaving a gift is not complicated, however it is recommended you consult with a solicitor before writing or updating your Will. A solicitor can help ensure your gifts go to the people and organisations you want to benefit from your estate.

We’ve included some suggested wording to include below.

Types of gifts may include:

Percentage – Leave a percentage of either the residue of your estate, or a percentage of your entire estate.

Residual – After taking care of your loved ones, you may choose to leave a gift of the remainder of your estate.

Specific Sum – Nominate the specific cash amount you would like to leave.

To leave a percentage of your estate

I give _____% of my total estate to Royal Far West ABN 37 821 970 819, 14-18 Wentworth Street, Manly NSW 2095 for its general purposes.

I declare that the receipt of the proper officer is an absolute discharge of my gift and my executor is not bound to see the application of this gift.

To leave the residue of your estate

I give the residue of my estate to Royal Far West ABN 37 821 970 819, 14-18 Wentworth Street, Manly NSW 2095 for its general purposes.

I declare that the receipt of the proper officer is an absolute discharge of my gift and my executor is not bound to see the application of this gift.

To leave a specific sum of money
