Royal Far West is pleased to share that Mark Driessen commenced as Acting CEO at the beginning of this year, following the departure of Jacqui Emery at the end of December.
Mark has been part of the Executive Leadership Team at Royal Far West since September 2020 as its Chief Operating Officer and brings over 36 years of senior experience across performance improvement, finance, risk, governance, strategy and leadership. He’s held senior Partner roles in major accounting and advisory firms and has also served as both CFO and COO in both commercial environments and large NFP’s. Mark’s career has focussed on government, disability, health, justice and the not-for-profit sectors – experience that gives him a deep understanding of the challenges faced by vulnerable populations and rural and remote communities.
As Acting CEO, Mark is looking forward to guiding the organisation during this period. His focus remains firmly on supporting country kids and their families during this important time. Mark brings a steady and thoughtful approach to leadership as Royal Far West moves into its next chapter.
