Helping Australian country kids
When children in rural and remote areas have health and developmental problems, the right help can be a long way away. However being far from help, doesn’t mean they are far from hope. We help to assess, treat and support children and families going through growing pains.OUR STORY
Your journey with us begins with a comprehensive screening and assessment in-community, at Manly or via videolink.
Children can access a care plan, therapy and ongoing support and intervention where needed. We offer support in Manly or via videolink through our Telecare programs.
The lives we improve
Jason had delayed speech development. By taking part in Royal Far West’s Telecare program, he’s racing ahead.
Daniel suffered from a severe behavioural disorder. Royal Far West provided the ongoing specialist treatment..
Kim has three children that all benefit from specialist care. That could mean days spent driving...
2,000 country families
are given life-changing assistance by Royal Far West programs every year
essential consultations and occasions of service provided every year
will be given a second chance with the new Centre for Child Health and Learning
Three ways you can help
Every dollar goes to to support country children. We’re funded by a combination of your donations, investments, government grants and corporate partnerships. Anything you give is enormously appreciated. Donations over $2 are tax deductible.
Sausage sizzles, fun runs, marathon bike rides – anyone can help out with a little imagination and inspiration. Find out how you can get involved.
Without volunteers, we couldn’t function. Many volunteers are long-term regulars, others offer their skills for a specific event. Even if you only have a few hours to spare, we’d love to have you!
