Our COVID-19 Response
In order to minimise the risk of exposing country families and in turn spreading COVID-19 to largely untouched regional and remote communities, it is with regret that we have decided to postpone all accommodation bookings, events and external meetings held at Royal Far West Manly (including Drummond House) for the foreseeable future.
Along with organisations all over the world, Royal Far West has been monitoring the COVID-19 situation very closely, taking guidance and considering facts and data from Public Health, the Australian Federal and State Governments and a range of other organisations across a variety of sectors, both here and internationally.
Each day brings new developments to consider, but our top priority remains our staff and their families, our clients and their families as well as you – our supporters and friends.
We recognise that this is a stressful and uncertain time. We look forward to hosting you again soon. We will send you regular updates as the situation unfolds and will be in touch when we re-open. In addition, you can follow us on Facebook.

Fantastic location and friendly helpful staff. Beds were good and very clean. Secure building. Secure car parking reasonably priced. Tea and coffee facilities in room and use of guest communal fridge in dining area. Breakfast was basic but plentiful, and if you don’t want to eat in, lots of great cafes close by. It is fabulous to know that when you use this accommodation (think boarding school meets bed’n breakfast, in a superbly convenient location) your money goes towards helping rural children and their families to access the health and education services they need, to take some of the strain off them – great to be able to support the charity!
