The Ronald McDonald Care Mobile©, the first of its kind in Australia, is a purpose built, 12 metre long vehicle with two clinical consulting rooms utilised by a team of Royal Far West clinicians to provide specialist health services to children in the areas where they live. The Ronald McDonald Care Mobile© makes accessing specialist services easier for hundreds of NSW country families.

Royal Far West clinicians provide a range of health and promotion services including paediatrics, speech therapy, dietetics, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, psychology, psychiatry and social work. The Care Mobile also facilitates the involvement of the Royal Far West team in health promotion activities and the delivery of information sessions to rural and remote health and education professionals. The use of technologies such as video conferencing is integrated into the services.
