Children’s Services Advisory Committee
The role of the CSAC is to oversight the profile and performance of the Children’s Services to ensure that they are of high quality, appropriate, accessible, efficient and in keeping with patient needs and Royal Far West's strategic direction.
Functions:
- To regularly review the service to ensure that it is consistent, with patient needs and Royal Far West's strategic direction
- To make recommendations to the Board in relation to the service and service priorities
- To monitor service delivery, performance, and outcomes
- To monitor clinical governance and quality frameworks including the Accreditation status of the service
- To review proposals for service enhancement
- To receive, review research proposals and to make recommendations in relation to those proposals
- To promote and facilitate clinical networking
- To monitor relations with referrers and key stakeholders
