The best of city and country is coming together to support and celebrate the work of Royal Far West.
On November 21, 2011 Royal Far West will host its annual celebration dinner with former Prime Minister The Hon. John Howard AC, as guest speaker and country music sensation and one of our champions for country kids - Lee Kernaghan leading the entertainment.
The dinner, at State Parliament, Sydney, is being hosted by Deputy Premier The Hon. Andrew Stoner MP.
Royal Far West CEO Lindsay Cane said she was delighted to see such a dynamic group getting behind the organisation and the work it does for country kids.
“Each year we deliver specialist healthcare to country kids from towns like Cobar, Wagga and Tamworth,” she said.
“Making sure our country kids have access to important healthcare is the foundation of what we do and it would not be possible without help from the community and some key organisations such as the Manly Sea Eagles and
Ronald McDonald House Charities.
“Today, Royal Far West is offering unique recreational and outreach programs to its patients because of the support it gets from these organisations. We will be highlighting their work at the dinner and celebrating our plans for the future with our other supporters.”
Tickets to the dinner are $150 or $1500 for a table of ten. There will be a fundraising auction on the night with prizes including a stay at the luxurious Wolgan Valley Resort and Spa, Lithgow.
