Tickets to the Royal Far West celebration dinner at State Parliament are sold out with friends of the organisation supporting the call to Be Aware, Be Inspired, Be Involved.
Royal Far West CEO Lindsay Cane said the dinner at State Parliament on November 21, 2011 was shaping up to be an amazing event with guest speaker the Hon John Howard AC and acclaimed performer Lee Kernaghan among the drawcards.
“As well as some amazing friends and supporters coming out in force to support the important work we do caring for country kids we have a host of wonderful auction prizes that will be available on the night,” Ms Cane said.
“We’re urging our sold out crowd to really get behind the night and join in the bidding as we auction fabulous items such as a two-night stay at the exclusive Wolgan Valley Resort and Spa, an eight-seat corporate box at the Australia vs India Twenty20 match in February and lunch in Strangers’ Dining Room with Deputy Premier Andrew Stoner and Deputy Speaker Thomas George.
“There’s also great generosity from Manly locals with the Sea Eagles leading the way by donating a Sunday football experience that includes two seats in the dug out and access to a post match function with the players and coach.
“We’re really hopeful these wonderful auction items will attract some competitive bidding and help us raise funds to support the important specialist healthcare we provide to country children.
“People not attending the dinner can still be in the running for these great items by placing a bid with our office by 9am on Monday November 21, 2011. These are amazing auction items and we’re looking forward to some great auction results.”
Wolgan Valley Resort & Spa is in the greater Blue Mountains. The resort has its own 4,000 acre wildlife and conservation reserve and features 40 luxury stand alone suites, each with private swimming pool. The prize also includes gourmet meals and two on-site nature based activities per person, per day.
Pre-event bids for the auction prizes can be registered with Emma Preece on 8966 8528 or email at emmap@royalfarwest.org.au
